Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled developer with a strong background in customizing, maintaining, and scaling ERPNext systems using the Frappe Framework. This role involves end-to-end ERPNext implementation, including development, hosting, and integration with third-party services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize ERPNext modules, features, and workflows to meet business requirements.
  • Enhance the front-end UI using the Frappe Framework to improve user experience.
  • Implement server-side logic and business rules using Python and Frappe.
  • Set up, configure, and manage ERPNext on cloud or on-premise servers.
  • Optimize system performance, troubleshoot server issues, and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Develop and integrate ERPNext with third-party applications such as payment gateways and external APIs.
  • Create custom API endpoints for communication with external services.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users of the ERP system.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for customizations, modules, and server configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Extensive experience with the Frappe Framework and ERPNext (minimum 2-3 years).
  • Expertise in MariaDB/MySQL for database management.
  • Experience in hosting ERPNext on Linux-based systems (Ubuntu) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
  • Knowledge of creating and managing REST APIs for integrations.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
  • Understanding of system security best practices (SSL, firewalls, database security).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes for ERPNext management at scale.
  • Knowledge of additional ERP modules (e.g., CRM, Sales, HR, Manufacturing).
  • Certifications in ERPNext, AWS, or other cloud platforms are a plus.
