Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with expertise in the Laravel framework to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust web applications, enhancing existing platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance.
- Build and secure RESTful APIs for application and third-party integration.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Provide ongoing support, updates, and ensure security compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React).
- Solid experience with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API principles.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and hosting environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
- Knowledge of additional PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, CodeIgniter).
- Understanding of web security best practices.
