When one person runs multiple hospitality businesses across a country — hotels in two cities, a boulangerie chain in two more, takeaway cafés on two of the busiest highways in Bhutan — technology stops being a per-outlet decision and starts being a portfolio-wide one. Menus need to stay consistent across cafés. Hotel reservations need to flow cleanly into the front office without re-keying. Wi-Fi, telephones, and the back-office server have to work — every day, in every location — without anyone in management thinking about it.
That is the standard Yeshey Palzom holds her businesses to, and it is the standard aBit has been entrusted to maintain across her growing footprint in Bhutan.
We are proud to share that with the latest rollout of eZee Optimus Cloud POS at Bhutanese French Boulangerie, Phuentsholing, our partnership with Yeshey now covers every one of her hospitality businesses — from Thimphu to Dochula to Phuentsholing.
About the Client
Yeshey Palzom is a Bhutanese hospitality entrepreneur who owns and operates multiple businesses across the country, spanning full-service hotels, a Parisian-style boulangerie, and roadside takeaway cafés on two of Bhutan's busiest highways. Her businesses include:
- Taraphyendeling Hotel — Thimphu and Phuentsholing
- The View Hotel — Thimphu
- Bhutanese French Boulangerie — Thimphu and now Phuentsholing
- Takeaway Cafe — Thimphu Highway and Dochula Highway
Each business has its own personality — from a quiet, plant-and-portrait-filled boulangerie to a highway café that runs on quick service — but they share one operational reality: the technology that powers them has to be reliable, consistent, and locally supported.
A Single Technology Partner Across Every Business
aBit is Yeshey's end-to-end technology partner across all of her hospitality businesses. That means we are not just the software vendor on a contract — we are the team her management calls when a printer at the counter stops responding, when the Wi-Fi at reception needs an extra access point, or when a new outlet is opening and the entire stack needs to be standing up by day one.
Our scope across her businesses covers:
Hospitality Software (Hotels)
- eZee Absolute Cloud PMS for property management — reservations, check-in/check-out, room inventory, guest profiles, and reporting — running across her hotel properties.
- eZee Optimus Cloud POS for hotel F&B outlets, integrated with the PMS so restaurant and bar charges post cleanly to guest folios.
Hospitality Software (Cafés)
- eZee Optimus Cloud POS for every café and bakery outlet — from the boulangerie locations in Thimphu and Phuentsholing to the highway-side Takeaway Cafe outlets at Thimphu Highway and Dochula.
IT Infrastructure (Hotels)
- Wi-Fi and wired networking — guest and back-of-house networks, designed and deployed for full-property coverage.
- Telephony / PABX — internal extensions, reception lines, and room phones.
- Server setup and maintenance — the on-premise hardware that keeps day-to-day operations running.
- Ongoing maintenance and support — through aBit's Support Center.
Support
- 24/7 online software support for eZee Absolute and eZee Optimus.
- In-person Support Center, 8 AM–10 PM daily including Sundays.
Why One Standard Across Every Business Matters
Operators who run a different POS at every outlet, a different PMS at every hotel, and a different cabling contractor at every property end up paying for that fragmentation in ways that are easy to underestimate — staff retraining every time someone moves between outlets, reports that never roll up cleanly at the ownership level, and support calls that bounce between three vendors before anyone takes ownership.
Yeshey made a different choice. By standardising on aBit's stack across every one of her businesses, she gets:
- One trained workforce. A barista who knows the POS at the Thimphu boulangerie can step into the Phuentsholing outlet on day one. A front-office team member trained on eZee Absolute at Taraphyendeling Thimphu can move to the Phuentsholing property without relearning the system.
- Consolidated visibility. Ownership and management can see sales, occupancy, and operational data across every business under one roof, in real time.
- One support relationship. When something breaks — software, network, or hardware — there is one number to call. We do not bounce the client between vendors.
- A single partner accountable for go-live. When a new outlet opens, the POS, the Wi-Fi, the phones, the server, and the staff training are all coordinated by the same team. No finger-pointing, no gaps.
The Phuentsholing Rollout: The Latest Chapter
The most recent extension of this partnership has been the launch of Bhutanese French Boulangerie's Phuentsholing outlet, where the brand is bringing its Parisian-style café experience to southern Bhutan for the first time.

For us, the brief was straightforward: deliver the same operational standard the team is already used to at the Thimphu boulangerie, on day one of trading.
That meant:
- Setting up and configuring eZee Optimus Cloud POS on the outlet's hardware.
- Building out the menu and pricing, aligned to the brand's existing standards.
- Configuring tax and payment workflows for Bhutanese compliance.
- Travelling on-site to train the Phuentsholing front-of-house team — running real orders, real payments, and real end-of-day closings until the workflows felt second nature.
- Standing by during go-live with our Support Center on call.
The team picked it up quickly — partly because Optimus is built for café operations, and partly because Yeshey's portfolio-wide standardisation meant the workflows already felt familiar to anyone who had worked at one of her other outlets before. That is the quiet payoff of partnering with a single technology partner across multiple businesses: every new opening gets faster, smoother, and lower-risk than the last.
The Result
Across all of Yeshey Palzom's hospitality businesses, aBit is the single point of accountability for:
- Every café and hotel point-of-sale, on eZee Optimus Cloud POS.
- Every hotel property management system, on eZee Absolute Cloud PMS.
- Every hotel's underlying IT infrastructure — networking, Wi-Fi, telephony, and servers.
- Day-to-day support across all of it, through our 24/7 online channel and 8 AM–10 PM Support Center.
The Phuentsholing boulangerie launch is the most recent addition, but the relationship is what we are most proud of. Hospitality operators in Bhutan have plenty of vendors to choose from. The fact that Yeshey Palzom and her team keep choosing aBit — outlet after outlet, year after year — is the strongest endorsement we could ask for.
